Metallica’s new album has leaked out a week or two early, unsurprisingly. It isn’t surprsing because it’s Metallica, but that it happens to most every artist these days. Some record store somewhere will sell a copy or two earlier than they should, one of those folks will share it with their friends, and lickety-split, it’s all over the Intertubes. In this case, that’s almost exactly what happened, according to Blabbermouth METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich has ...Shared by AC Valentine (16) assbach (37) Azeem (46) Bjoern (36) Drew Olanoff (148) Duncan (86) Eliacin (44) everyone loves a wee sombrero (131) Farhad (19) Gommit (31) Jrod (68) Matt Siltala (5) melmyfinger (15) minmax (20) nikhil (28) Rex (170) Sean (22) Sham (107) Tor Erling (142) Zenith (27)- Sean said: Told you all that they don't get it.

Hulu vs. Amazon: Amazon Never Stood A Chance (22)

Since Amazon released its video on demand service earlier today, I’ve pored over each and every section of the site to determine if it has what it takes to supplant Hulu as the best online video service providing professional network content. And after doing just that, I’ve quickly realized that it doesn’t. Amazon has done all it can to solidify its stance in the online video market. First, it launched its Unbox service to compete ...Shared by <Super Stevie> (15) AJ (198) Alex Carpenter (18) Alfonso Martinez (14) Avi (795) Bob (13) Chanse Arrington (21) Digg Boss (641) digits12 (786) Dragos Pirvu (715) James (14) Jan (17) Javed (150) Jemima Kiss (10) Leena (1187) LUCCHINA (446) luckymurari (162) melmyfinger (15) Nick DeMartino (12) PiAir (50) yoshy (342) zapnap (35)Contribute comment -

40 Creative Design Layouts: Getting Out Of The Box [PICS] (104)
on
Smashing Magazine (933) permalink
Over the last months we have seen a strong trend towards more individual web designs. These designs use realistic motifs from our regular life, such as hand-drawn elements, script fonts, pins, paper clips, organic textures and scrapbooks. That’s not a big surprise as they manage to serve the function which faceless shiny glassy 3D-buttons completely fail to deliver: convey the individuality and personality. “Personal” designs appear more familiar and more friendly. Used properly, such elements ...Shared by alexbig (21) Ali (26) Amit (16) Aneesha Bakharia (8) avianto (7) Azeem (46) Benjamin (1187) Benjamin (4) Bill Keaggy (19) Brad Brooks (11) Brandon Ball (28) Brian Partridge (10) brokekid (146) Çağatay Öztürk (17) Chandoo (9) chris (502) Chris L (20) Christopher (54) Coolbox (29) Dana Lookadoo (35) dani (26) Daniel Wittberger (17) Danny Korpan (6) Digg Boss (641) dingyi (13) dobata (441) Dominic Foster (299) Dorn (9) drew shobbrook (8) Elliot (29) Emil (7) etng (29) frivmo (5) Gerard (40) Giorgos Androulidakis (66) goodpic (15) Grant Griffiths (12) Guy (791) HejGustav (34) Janne Toivoniemi (6) Jason David Pelker (13) Jeremy Davis (4) JJ.Ying (1) Joseph Rodgers (24) Juan (15) Justin (7) Jye (31) Kevin (11) Kristian (45) Kyle (3) Lauren (6) lebachai (7) Leyla Bonilla (93) liamvictor (144) Live & Direct (29) LUCCHINA (446) Mancho (19) Mark (39) martinjy (6) Matt (13) MattC (2) matteo fogli (6) melmyfinger (15) Michael Yakovis (26) Mila F (37) Milkr Chan (8) Mostafa (3) mr_gadget (153) MrGuff (90) Muhammad Saleem (285) natalia (35) Neil (8) Nick Cobb (497) Nuno Carvalho (20) Olivier Favre (Innovablog) (32) Paddy (3) Peli (29) Pete Barry (5) Peter v (14) Radium (5) Rami Taibah (533) Rebecca Markowitz (4) Rob (148) Robby Colvin (16) Romey (34) Ron (16) Satya (11) Scott (19) Selwin (25) Srandy (30) Stephanie Gulley (16) stwn (16) superdeluxe (27) Ted (14) theCan (8) tj hanton (5) Tom Davies (173) Tom Q (7) Travis (40) Wes (16) xgdfalcon (9) yoshy (342) Zachary (9) zoby (4)Contribute comment -
