How is John McCain's Affair Different than John Edwards'? (32)

We have this weird notion in America now that if a politician is caught in an affair that his career is done. We seem to be saying that what he did in his private life effects his policies or how he governs. But we all know that isn't true. We know that because almost all of our great presidents, and great leaders throughout history, have had numerous affairs. Obviously it didn't hurt how they governed ...Shared by adam (725) Adam Maldonado (182) adin (8) Ali (5) Ali G (6) Andy (0) Arnold (0) brianhoch (11) Chris Toner (0) Christopher (21) Daniel (183) digits12 (339) Doug (2) Doug Adams (8) Jeff Schmidt (3) Jim (2) Kai (0) Kevin Federline (22) Laurie Ruettimann (5) Leximo (24) Martin Malden (17) mike (1) mike3k (55) Paul (12) ProfVegas (142) qthrul (16) Reg Saddler (Zaibatsu) (812) Rick (8) rzklkng (113) Seth Anderson (10) SmOKe_MaChiNe (0) Tidus (0)Contribute comment -
Mrs. Hilton: McCain's Celebrity Ad: Frivolous, A Waste ... (21)

I've been asked again and again for my response to the now infamous McCain celebrity ad. I actually have three responses. It is a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President ...Shared by Albie (14) Alex Dumitru (153) Andy (0) Bill Blaney (35) Christopher (21) Dan Serfaty (12) hikbi (134) Jason Joo (29) Jeff Stonebraker (6) John Blossom (0) Kabren Levinson (43) Matt (21) Rae Davey (0) Reg Saddler (Zaibatsu) (812) Ross V (0) Shawn Hill (115) Web Measurement and Analytics (6) Will Sullivan (30) xxdesmus (87) York (97) zizzy (6)Contribute comment -

Comcast tried to stop it. Telecom-funded politicians tried to discourage it. Big Media tried to de-legitimize it. But nothing could stop the people-powered movement to hold Comcast accountable for illegally blocking Internet content. Today, the FCC issued a punishment that has Network Neutrality opponents cringing and the rest of us popping champagne. In a landmark decision, FCC Chairman Kevin Martin and Commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein approved a bipartisan “enforcement order” that would require ...Shared by Aaron Marks (1) adam (725) Ahoo Pirsoleimani (0) amy lukima (13) Andy (0) Antonio Delgado (39) Ashish Mohta (49) Bill DeRusha (6) Bob (0) Brian (112) Bryan (1) Cameron Yeager (8) cgsheldon (123) Chad Smith (0) chantelle (0) Charles (10) Chris (30) Chris (36) Damon (20) Dan Sheppard (1) Daniel Stinebaugh (14) Darth Guru (31) David Fiedler (0) David Kettler (16) david miron (0) davidjtate (16) Derning (23) Derrik (68) Doug Adams (8) Earth Economy (125) Elmer Thomas (116) Eric Chen (19) furman (0) Gabe (19) History of Blogging (100) HonestReporting (2) Inthenameofmine (0) James Dorminey (3) Jason (1) Jason Gilman (8) Jeff Jones (32) Jess (3) Jesse Mercado (8) Jillian York (4) JoAnne Westcott (0) Joh Rogers (17) John Storer II (27) Jon (1) Jon Phillips (49) Jonathan (3) Joseph (0) Josh Klein (11) Joshua Lovejoy (0) Justin Simonsen (46) Kabren Levinson (43) Kevin Bondelli (131) Krazy (236) Marcus Mattsson (8) mavrevMatt (26) Melissa Hedwall (30) melmyfinger (8) Michael (12) Michael Mior (67) Michelle Jones (7) Mike Gdovin (0) mr_gadget (15) NasirJumani (193) NBW (11) Omar Qazi (0) Patrick (0) pericles (359) Peter (16) ps1160 (0) Raffi Asdourian (6) raytibbitts (17) Rob (15) roxanne sutton (0) scott (0) sean h (29) Sham (10) Shawn Hill (115) Shawn Strong (1) Simon Carpentier (3) snachodog (37) Spudsstuff (46) Steve Barlow (1) Thomas Power (0) Tim (34) Tom (2) trevor (9) Trevor Wermund (217) Tyler N. Forget the iPhone--The iPod Touch is Good Enough [Ipod Touch] (248)

Back in June 2007, I couldn't convince my wife that checking my email in grocery lines was worth $1,320—the cost of an original iPhone and one year of the cheapest plan. These days, the trend-setting phone costs even more money over its life, and it's more than a little restrictive and even a bit buggy. So I'm amazed at how little love the iPod touch gets. It's a slimmer iPhone with almost all its features, ...Shared by abhi (20) Adam (19) adam (725) Adam (19) Adam Fuhrer (6) Adam Maldonado (182) Al Abut (0) Alan (0) Alan (14) Alan Whitney (3) Alberto (233) Alec Peden (15) aleksander (17) Alex (2) alex (0) Alex (95) Alf Kåre (19) Ali Tehrani (0) Alpha (11) Amish Schulze (17) anand (9) Andrés Milleiro (12) Andrew (24) Andrew (8) Andrew (29) Andy (0) AndyCast Andy (19) Ansgar (1) Anthony Marco (4) Anthony Muoio (0) aNTwNHs (30) ario (1) Art (25) baardoa (20) Backhandzeus (23) Baratunde (40) Barry (22) Beau Giles (18) Bernardo (14) Bill Sodeman (1) Birgit Ferran (21) bodzasfanta (123) Brad 2.0 (3) Brandy (24) Brant (0) Bret (18) Brett (0) Brian (0) Brian (0) Bryan (0) Cameron Yeager (8) Carlos Cervantes (1) Ch (77) Chad (20) Charles (9) Charles Wallace (3) Charlie (7) Chris (20) Chris (27) Chris Chan (15) Chris G. Steve Jobs Calls NYT Columnist a "Slime Bucket" (61)

Apple lied about Steve Jobs' health when it tried to quash concerns about his appearance at the WWDC conference last month, Joe Nocera of the New York Times says.
