Build your own Bluetooth handgun handset, or don't (1)
permalinkFiled under: Peripherals, Misc Want to attract attention (and the police) every time you answer your cellphone in public? Then perhaps this build-at-your-own-risk Bluetooth handgun handset project is for you. As far as DIY mods go, this one looks to be simple enough (if somewhat time-consuming), with it involving nothing more than stuffing a disassembled Jabra Bluetooth headset into a suitably realistic-looking airsoft gun, which apparently fits just right so that the trigger operates the ...Shared by blindsurf3r (14)Contribute comment

Floor-by-Floor Demolition Blows Minds, Saves Environment [Demolition] (56)
on Gizmodo (11146) permalinkKajima's floor-by-floor slow demolition is one of those rare things in life that leaves you truly speechless, mouth wide-open, and pinching yourself to be sure this is real while you mutter "what the frak." After all, seeing the video of a 20-floor building submerging into the asphalt as if it was liquid is something that belongs to a sci-fi movie. The stunning process—called daruma-otoshi—is not only almost surrealistic but it helps to reduce the environmental ...Shared by Aaron (37) aconbere (50) AJ (1214) Augmented Web (118) Bill (32) blindsurf3r (14) BobTheCorkDwarf (40) Chad (388) chiao (53) Connor (81) Daily Contempt (204) Damon (114) David (45) Dicky S (118) dknowles (57) Doug (124) Éric (52) G Code (200) Gaurav (46) Glen Murphy (23) INCyr (70) Jeffrey Blais (171) JonMoss-theappleofmyi (613) Justin Pocta (54) Kaveh Dorafshan (289) Kerem Ozkan (5) Kreg (92) Leo K (67) lmjabreu (120) lostalpinist (27) Marissa (43) Mark (524) MH (208) Miguel Lopez (353) momo (17) Nathan Reale (182) Patty (1017) psi (40) Raj (42) Robert Accettura (173) robertogreco (244) rOckY (701) Rusty Mitchell (109) rveguilla (56) Setu (40) Simon (149) stormin (22) Tim (22) Tony Buser (43) trinkers (51) Vorak (31) Wayne (268) Whiz (73) yolly (23) Zach (298) Zack (17)

Yahoo Smart To Reject Latest Microsoft-Icahn Offer, Which Was Just a Proxy Ploy (6)
on Silicon Alley Insider (1520) permalinkMicrosoft (MSFT) and Carl Icahn made another formal, non-negotiable offer on Friday night to buy Yahoo's search assets (without releasing details) and gave the company 24 hours to accept or reject it. Yahoo (YHOO) rejected it. Yahoo also blasted Microsoft for its erratic behavior and "suggested" that Microsoft just buy the whole company for $33 or more.
