Top 5 Gadgets That Could Get You Arrested (41)
on Wired Top Stories (5781) permalinkOK, we'll admit it. Some of us are drawn to dangerous gear like bears to a picnic basket. There's just something devilishly appealing about mixing a few of our favorite things (tech toys) with one of our least (a ride in the back of a squad car). Although we'd never condone breaking the law with these five gadgets, we can't deny our morbid fascination with them. Just remember: If misused, these gizmos could get you ...Shared by <Super Stevie> (48) adam (17) Alberto (374) alphaxion (7) Ananya Walia (2077) Christian (252) Cody (11) Dakota (3) Damian Nicholson (13) Dave Keffler (127) Deks Daka (13) Derek (24) deusdiabolus (447) Doug Adams (347) El_Greco (66) George (54) Haris (119) InformationHigh (52) J.D. MIT Says U.S. Could Cut Fuel Use 50% by 2035 (20)
on Green Options (155) permalinkA new report by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Energy Initiative predicts that a 30-50% reduction in fuel consumption is possible in the US over the next 25-30 years. Initially, this will be achieved through improved gasoline and diesel engines and transmissions, gasoline hybrids and reductions in vehicle weight and drag. In the longer term, the study concludes that plug-in hybrids and, later, hydrogen fuel cells may begin to have a significant impact on ...Shared by ~C4Chaos (341) adam (17) Adam Fuhrer (224) Amit Chowdhry (138) André R. Tattoo? Symbiote? What the Hell is That Thing On Olympian Kerri Walsh's Shoulder? [Retromodo] (32)
on Gizmodo (18149) permalinkFor the longest time I thought the black sinewy thing on Olympic beach volleyball player Kerri Walsh's shoulder was either a confused Alien face sucker, a horny spider, a bad tattoo decision (a la Mike Tyson), or all of the above. Amazing Wooden Mirrors Are Throwback To Medieval Times (pic) (23)

Interactive artist, Danny Rozen, has done just this, creating a mirror out of 830 wood blocks - but would you put one on your wall?
