Delicious.com Relaunches with 1,000-Character Notes Fields (28)
on 43 Folders - (131) permalinkOh happy day — the new Delicious is here In the years since del.icio.us was acquired by Yahoo! it’s been hard to get why it remained such a red-headed stepchild. Despite an unbelievable lead in both mindshare, functionality, and ease-of-use (yeah, it’s been my preferred bookmarker for years), del.icio.us seemed to sit there while a dozen social bookmarking sites lapped it with fancier designs and (mostly superfluous) new features. Yay, Yahoo. Today Y! revealed a ...Shared by Alec Peden (129) Brian (10) dobata (753) Eugene (89) Gienah Ghurab (39) Jeff Daly (91) Jeton (17) Kim (25) krispijn (7) Matthew Bischoff (24) Miguel Caetano (513) Mike McBride (37) mndoci (140) Mohammad Behdad (42) Mrs S (48) Nathan (6) Nick Nogueira (55) Phil (8) Picketwire (43) ppip (43) Rachael (28) Seth Anderson (27) SFSlim (99) Shack (44) Stephen Hood (22) Vincenzo (132) whatevernevermind (110) ziqbalbh (9)

Delicious 2.0: Who bookmarks any more? (25)
on mathewingram.com/work (83) permalinkWhen I saw the news about the launch of Delicious 2.0, I can’t say I felt a huge wave of joy, despite the fact that I am what most people would probably consider a hard-core Delicious user, with about 10,000 webpages saved since I started using it. But not only didn’t I feel any joy at the news, I didn’t really feel anything at all. In part, that could be because the new Delicious interface ...Shared by Adam (62) Andreas (13) Bob Caswell (43) britta (16) dobata (753) Evgeni L. / Reepicheep (43) Franklin P (64) Jeton (17) k1v1n (58) KC (8) kliger (17) louisgray (459) Matt (8) nik (20) Ontario Emperor (204) Paulo Diniz (36) Rob (322) Sam (80) svartling (127) Terence (10) Tim (15) timmyt (14) Tom (15) Tommaso (9) Wyctim (69)

delicious blog»Oh happy day — the new Delicious is here (68)
on delicious blog (39) permalinkOver the past few days we’ve been transitioning Delicious over to our new platform, quietly starting with RSS feeds and APIs. Today we’re taking the final step and flipping the switch on the new web site: delicious.com. The new Delicious is just like the old del.icio.us, only faster, easier to learn, and hopefully more delightful to use and to look at. Here are the main changes: Speed: We’ve moved to a new infrastructure that makes ...Shared by 1001 noisy cameras (132) Adam (62) AJ (680) Alessio Bragadini (8) Amy (9) Anders Pedersen (7) Andrew Chorney (14) ani625 (227) Anton Johansson (119) atul (357) Ben (20) Bilouz (11) brownpau (180) Casey (46) Chmiche (140) Chris Makarsky (53) Chris Marshall (7) Darren (14) David Black (20) Edo (74) Eric Ellenberg (0) Garret (16) gastaoss (101) gRegor (34) Hasan Yılmaz (27) Hideki Itakura (9) Hiroshi Tsujimura (89) Ian Irving (6) individual8 (5) James (15) Jeton (17) John Colter (8) John Grinde (7) Jonathan Hensley (10) k00pa (206) Kathleen (60) Marcel (55) mark (1) MasterMaq (29) Mr. Matt (27) Muhammad Saleem (477) Niv (103) norasun (6) Pål Degerstrøm (30) Pradeep (10) R (82) Randy (47) Rich (7) Rick Turoczy (300) Rob (322) Rob Cottingham (4) Robert Cortez (11) shamroy (36) Shogun (20) Si Jobling (9) Stephen Hood (22) Stephen J. - Randy said: The new del.icio.us (now known as simply Delicious). I've just started to play with the new interface, and it's pretty slick. I fucking hate how they changed to delicious.com, though--I've used the service for years, and typing "del.icio.us" just flows, although I acknowledge the fact that people do not know how to spell.

Something old, something new..... (4)
on blog.iphone-dev.org (40) permalinkThis image is the “About” screen from a 3G iPhone that was bought in a store last week. As you can see the modem firmware version has been successfully downgraded to an older “beta” firmware. This is not an unlock (yet), but it is our illustration of the first progress made with regard to hacking the 3G baseband. We have accomplished this by being able to execute our own code on the baseband that allows ...Contribute comment

Is a Google Talk Contact Invisible? (42)
on Google Operating System (421) permalinkSometimes error messages can reveal more than they were supposed to. Rahul Bansal writes about a simple trick that helps you find out if one of your Google Talk contacts is offline or uses the invisible mode. The trick takes advantage of Google's off the record feature which lets you chat with your contacts without saving the conversations in Gmail."Chats that have been taken off the record aren't stored in your Gmail chat history, or ...Shared by (``-_-´´) (124) Alex Dumitru (434) Ameer (26) Anurag (0) av8612 (7) badpazzword (0) beanj007 (1) Carbonlord (913) chewzer (21) ckaroli (82) Compuwizard123 (114) Darin R. Gmail and Google Calendar to Add Offline Support (127)
on Google Operating System (421) permalinkIt seems that this year Google's most popular web applications will work offline. After Google Reader and Google Docs, two other services will integrate with Gears. Andrew Fogg saw a preview of the integration at Google's offices and found that Gmail and Google Calendar will add offline support in approximately 6 weeks. In the past months, Google accidentally enabled the option in Google Calendar and some users saw the dialog illustrated below: "To view and edit ...Shared by adrcc2 (12) Alan (29) Alberto (28) Alvin A.
