“Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify.” - Henry David Thoreau What would you do if you had an extra hour a day? This is a common barrier I run into when I write about making positive life changes: people don’t have time to pursue their dreams. People don’t have time to exercise. People don’t have time to get organized. Well, it’s time to make time. By using some combination of the following, ...Shared by Abdullah Cetin CAVDAR (52) Adam Fuhrer (85) Alec Peden (8) Anand L (6) Ananya Walia (769) ash (45) BluesForPablo (18) Bruno (2) Cai Chen (995) CannonGod (226) Carsten (10) Charles Rice (3) colladude (2) Coop (25) Daniel Hoang (7) Don (15) Edward Wiest (1) Elina Kamaeva (0) Evo (0) Gauravonomics (40) Geoff (4) Glen Horton (4) Grace Smith (14) hatza (9) hibiscusroto (3) James Fridley (4) John (0) Jonas (17) Joseph Miller (3) Joseph Rodgers (24) Joyce (17) Julianne (5) Kajivar (45) Kate Bladow (15) kevin (12) Leanne Nelson (20) Leyla Bonilla (91) Lin Burress (2) lisamac (1) Marco (9) Marque (0) Matteo (34) Michelle (15) mwsmedia (2) oliver gassner (14) Ozgur Alaz, Marketallica (20) Peppermint (7) plu (23) RacefanPat (16) Rachel (1) Robert (5) Roel (18) Roxanne Ravenel (4) Sheehan (7) Sheryl (8) Stefan (29) Stephen Baugh (22) Tanner Lovelace (1) Tom Hanna (96) twilight fairy (6) Vegard (11)- James Fridley said: Everyone should take 5min and read this. Time management really comes down to identifying how and perhaps more importantly where you are wasting time. My personal tip is don't just listen to podcasts/netcasts/audiobooks, optimise them. Using audacity (free audio editor) set up a chain that changes the pitch of a podcast down by 50%, then increase the speed by 100%, finally export it as a mp3. You have just cut your listening time in half. While the people do speak a little faster, your not listening to chipmunks, and when it comes to audiobooks (like those from audible), listing to a book in 5hrs instead of 10 makes a big difference...
