Video Game Bar Tackles Two Life-Hindering Addictions at Once [Gaming] (10)

At first glance, it's just an ordinary bar playing some sporting event on television. You think, that's not really anything special. I've seen bars before. Heck, I've vomited on bars before. And what is that? Oak? I've certainly vomited on oak. But with the flick of a panel... ...four joysticks are revealed, ready for some classic MAME multiplayer! We're not sure where the PC is hiding—probably staying chilly next to a keg or two—but how ...Shared by Amy (125) BobTheCorkDwarf (0) Boxpuppy (9) Coop (3) Getinet (4) Guillermo Bravo (73) Jilted (17) Ryan S (38) StarkENT (1) w0lfh0und (268)Contribute comment - 12-year-old girl charged with driving offences (1)

Scan Toaster Prints Text, Photos From the Internet Onto Your Bread [Multitasking] (25)

If you are the kind of person who rushes around in the morning, but always makes the time for toast, you will love the Scan Toaster printer concept by designer Sung Bae Chang. Details are scarce, but we do know that it connects to the internet via USB and is capable of printing images or text on bread using some sort of flexible "module" unit heated by a wire. Each module can move 30-degrees vertically, ...Shared by Aaron H. From the world's tallest skyscraper to the world's highest popping toaster, it seems like a day rarely goes by without news of some sort of record being broken. As far as consumer gadgets are concerned, everyone claims to have the biggest, smallest or the fastest product on the market—but just because it's in the press release doesn't make it true. No so with the following 10 gadgets—these are sure-fire record breakers. At the Beijing Olympics, there were thousands of photographers all looking to get iconic shots of the games. For some events, that meant arriving many, many hours early and setting up elaborate remote camera setups. For the men's 100m dash, there were close to 100 remote cameras set up, all focused on the same thing: the finish line. Photographer Vincent Laforet was there, and he made this amazing video showing the sheer insanity of hundreds ...Shared by AJ (8) Alex (13) André Elias (27) Ash (6) Ben (1) Bill (3) BobTheCorkDwarf (0) Dicky S (11) DrFu (30) dwfrank (18) Linkletter (20) Lionel Riem (23) Matthew (53) Nvidianat (0)Contribute comment -
