PlanHQ Wants to Make Achieving Business Plans Easier (24)
on ReadWriteWeb (14748) permalinkPlanHQ is a web based business plan tool that wants to help small and medium businesses to more effectively manage their teams, financials, and, most importantly, their projects. While it has obvious similarities to the popular project management tool Basecamp, PlanHQ's approach is quite distinct from Basecamp's and invites its users to keep an eye on the bigger picture goals. One aspect of PlanHQ we noticed throughout the application is that the design is minimalist, ...Shared by Abdul Jaleel (59) AJ (1003) aroyer (42) Brian (93) brokekid (438) Bruce (72) Cem (28) Dan (19) elsterama (266) GP (161) Jason David Pelker (110) Jbud1 (35) Jeff Poetker (32) Josh (17) Kyle (122) Marque (99) Meghan A (13) MiramarMike (104) noahp (24) Patrick Altman (16) pepitogrilho (17) ramyon (72) smdahlen (25) Steve (25)

- Forrest said: Short answer: no. Open Source matters to developers and to a comparatively small number of users. Services like FriendFeed makes innately providing networking capabilities less essential than they would otherwise be. It will take something far more powerful than social tools and nice interface to overcome Delicious' large user base - something like Iterasi, which provides whole page capture and historical archiving.
