Lifehacker (7878) permalink
All-things-IKEA weblog IKEA Hacker details how to make an attractive headphone stand for your desk—complete with cable-wrapping posts for cord management—using roughly $15 worth of returned parts from IKEA. The outcome, which you can check out at IKEA Hacker or in the many larger pics at the original forum post, is really impressive. The headphone stand seems like a perfect addition to any desk, particularly if you do any sort of editing or you just ...Shared by Aaron R (74) Bwood42 (8) Drew Olanoff (144) Eric (12) Getinet (37) hoberion (14) J (8) Jonas (17) Library (16) Lord (20) Mary Alice (12) mh (7) MrGuff (83) Richard (43) Ryan (42) Ryan (20) Scott Harrison (6) Stefano Mainardi (19) twe4k (10)Contribute comment - RapidWeaver 4.0 - Powerful Web Design Software for Mac OS X (1)

Operate Your Computer with Wii Controllers (103)

Nintendo doesn't exactly advertise it, but the remotes for the Wii gaming console—including the balance board that comes with Wii Fit—have Bluetooth capabilities. That means you can connect your Wii peripherals to your computer to operate the media center hooked to your TV, play emulated games with a Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or even a Balance Board, and pretty much have them do anything you can do with a keyboard. Let's walk through linking up your ...Shared by afahy (9) Alex (102) Alexander13 (467) Amu (10) Andrea (17) Andy Benoit (0) AndyCast Andy (7) andynu (6) Arkayz (3) Arvin (7) azlon (9) b (45) Billy (2) bombox (6) BrendoMan (115) Cai Chen (1062) Carl Dunn3 (15) Cast42 (19) Charles (36) Chris (15) ConcertfreakJJ (6) count.dokument (13) Craig Lee (1) Cunya (13) Dan Overlander (3) dani (22) Danny Chamberlin (0) Dave Findlay (6) DaveBinM (4) dbb (5) Degauss (9) digits12 (716) Ditto Rahmat (15) Dragos Pirvu (684) ductapeguy (18) Elmer Thomas (142) Eric (52) Eric (21) Erik (46) Evelien (10) Felipe (17) giginger (33) Hokey (12) hoosteen (43) J (8) JAG (17) Jan Vazquez (4) Jared (0) Jared (19) Jared (2) JBu92 (65) Jeremy (9) Joe (71) John (21) Jon (2) JustonWestern (5) Kirk (3) Kristian (43) Krystal (37) Kurt (13) Lance Fisher (9) Leena (1134) Lindsay (15) m0d (5) Mark Zabala (16) Michael (14) Mone (6) MrQwest (38) Nelson (23) NewBCamp 08 (8) Nick (3) Nick (8) Nick (2) nikoleto (15) Nils Magnus (8) njsf (10) odeb (54) Parag Shah (1) Phonkmeister (20) potentato (25) Rami Taibah (489) ricardo (20) Roger (9) Ryan (42) Shaun Greiner (2) smerrell (2) southernsara (20) Stacy (46) stefan (7) Stephen (8) Superbunker (12) tarraguna (2) thr33 (25) Tim (11) Tommy (3) Trindade (40) Ullash (23) Vegard (17) virtualcourtney (20) Walter DeFoor (33) WindPower (28) wwdj (9) zRyu (4)Explore read five notes- dani said: knock knock. who's there. wii. wii who. wii mainstream.

I’m not a champion Scrabble player by any means - I often resort to words like “at” and “it” just to use up a turn. But with this list, hopefully I’ll be a little more creative when using tiny little words. And if all else fails, there’s always “ZQFMGB”… a worm found in New Guinea, according to Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes. 1. Aa. And I don’t mean the acronym for Alcoholics Anonymous, either. Get Paid to Twitter Using the Adjix Link Shrinker (41)

Micro Persuasion (191) permalink
I was just contacted by a reporter who is working on a story about Adjix, a new service that conceivably gives everyone on Twitter a way to make money for tweeting. It could be a smash hit, but it's got caveats. Adjix, like TinyURL, is a URL shortener - but with at twist. It's also an advertising network that wraps your redirected links with a small ad frame. This video response is brilliant marketing on the part of Electronic Arts and Tiger Woods.
