(OR) Jeff! You tweeted all over our business plan! So I’ve had time to recover from my very first bizjam, where I was lifted up and carried a few feet by a social media sandstorm. Whether we were talking about finding time to blog or breaking out in small groups to discuss the ‘dimensions of community’, there was one clear theme of the day: Entrepreneurs and small businesses are excited about social media. And we ...Contribute comment -

The mobile version of Twitter found at m.twitter.com, for lack ...Shared by Adam (10) AJ (190) Damien Bidmead (6) dobata (366) DOCBook Howto (116) Joe (102) jrocool (0) Kasey Sistrunk Anderson (0) Marcel (25) Mikael (13) Mike F (460) Tom (8) Yung-Hui Lim (81)- jrocool said: An acquisition of summize... twitter need not only acquiring search features but also more informative value prop.

To generate a Blueprint grid, for instance, you'd enter "30,10" to create a PSD with a series of repeating columns of alternating 30 pixel units and 10 ...Shared by Damien Bidmead (6)- Damien Bidmead said: sounds cool. Faux Absolute Positioning (3)

A List Apart (149) permalink
CSS layout is awesome, except when your layout calls for a header, a footer, and columns in between. Use float, and content changes can cause columns to wrap. Use absolute positioning, and your footer can crash into your columns. Add the complexity of drag-and-drop layouts, and a new technique is needed. Enter "faux absolute positioning." Align every item to a predefined position on the grid (as with absolute positioning), but objects will still affect the ...Contribute comment -
