Less than three months after the continent’s first Apple store debuted, Australia will celebrate its third retail store with the grand opening of the Chadstone location on September 13th at 10 a.m. The store in a southern suburb of Melbourne will round out coverage in the southeastern region of the country, leaving plenty of room for future stores in Perth, Brisbane, Darwin and Adelaide. Tipsters point to future locations in Melbourne itself, possibly along Church ...

Exposé, one of the built-in Mac gimmicks that Windows doesn't have, has been doing great job on promoting Mac to Windows users. Personally, I will invoke my Exposé whenever I saw my Windowish friends approaching me while operating my Mac. It's just "Wow!" for them, though it's as simple as bread and butter for Mac users. Besides being used for attracting attention, we, Mac users, usually use Exposé for the sake of productivity boosting. Exposé ...

While the nickname field of Address Book entries does sync to the iPhone, it's not searchable on the iPhone. Also, it's not used as the display name in call lists or SMS chats. I much prefer reading friend's short names or nicknames instead of their full name when they call. The easy solution to achieve that is to turn your friends into companies. Use each person's nickname as the company name, and check the Company box ...
