The core Twitter service itself is alive, but the team took the Reply feature down on Tuesday when the service started to slow. As of now, Friday afternoon, Replies are still down. Disabling certain features is Twitter’s recent attempt to keep their frail architecture from failing completely. - wilson said: A company must know which of their features or services is more valued... in this case, replies was.anyhow, the reason I'm linking to this is that there is an absolutely fantastic picture there of a traffic jam. it is a poster image of what happens when there are misguided policies that absolutely just jams up the way things are supposed to work.
