Jacob Seidelin keeps on going, and has created a Super Mario Kart prototype: It uses the canvas element to do most of the rendering and should work in both FF2, FF3, Opera(9.27 and beta) and Safari 3.1.1. En gros, shc permet de compiler un script shell...et donc d'obtenir un binaire executable (portable avec l'option -r). L'avantage principal, c'est surtout qu'il devient plus difficile de "voir" le contenu du script...Cela permet de décourager ou de ralentir les curieux... On peut donc l'utiliser par example pour compliquer la lecture des scripts qui contiennent des mots de passe... /!\ Il doit être possible avec des debuggers ou des "ps" etc... d'obtenir le code source.. voir ...

Pour pas oublier, parce que ça peut vous servir… ssh -D x machineproxy@ipmachine (x est le numéro de port de votre choix, de préférence supérieur à 1024. Faites ça vers une machine n’ayant pas de soucis de proxy ou autres, genre votre dedibox, le pc chez vous …) Puis dans Firefox, réglez un proxy Socks v5, en localhost, port x. Aussi possible sous xchat … Et hop, vous évitez les sales réglages d’un administrateur trop ...

Ça fait un moment maintenant que je voulais écrire sur l’excellent schémas d’Éric Burke, qui met face à face les produits Apple et Google et les applications d’entreprise. En ce moment je ne parle plus beaucoup de Firefox (ou de quoi que ce soit d'autre) car ma dernière occupation relève de l'administration d'un serveur Web. Je suis donc amené à utiliser intensivement la ligne de commande et à passer fréquemment du compte utilisateur classique au compte root. Étant assez déçu du peu de différence visuel entre les deux comptes, j'ai donc modifié mon prompt utilisateur en rajoutant cette ligne dans le fichier /home/tbassetto/.bashrc ...

Voilà un petit site fort sympathique : Note ton entreprise qui vous permet de mettre une note à votre entreprise… Pour l’instant peu de notes (et certaines un peu débiles), j’ai évidemment contribué immédiatement (en faisant une erreur sur le nom de ma boite, la honte pour moi).
