Yesterday was one of those days when the Universe wraps itself around my head and humps my skull just to show its dominance. Sort of like the times Coco climbs on top of Chuck's backside and moves her lady parts in and out, in and out, as if that would even work if things were functioning, and Chuck just stands there and lets her do it, sometimes glancing over at me as if to say, ...Contribute comment -

Go ahead -- you order a plate of this stuff and see if you aren't still staring at it three hours later. Ice Girl, Ice Daddy and Ice Bat Originally uploaded by Citizen Rob Okay, so let's talk about People First Language. I've seen it presented as a sort of universal truth, as if the rightness of People First Language is a given, with little room for argument. People First Language must be used, I read time and time again, like a moral imperative. The heartfelt and dedicated advocates of People First Language want very much for ...Contribute comment -

Blue Laws Are Bullshit! (1)

Blue Laws are laws that prevent stores from selling beer, wine or liquor on Sundays. These antiquated laws have been on the books in many jurisdictions for decades. And the citizens in these counties and towns, primarily in the Southeast, just go about life dealing with this. Well, it is total bullshit! All it does is make people plan around it. You shop for your alcohol needs the day before. Why? These laws were written ...Shared by HelloKit (3)Contribute comment -

NewYorkCountryLawyer writes "Well, Phase I of the RIAA's misguided pursuit of an innocent, disabled Oregon woman, Atlantic v. Andersen, has finally drawn to a close, as the RIAA was forced to pay Ms. Andersen $107,951, representing the amount of her attorneys fee judgment plus interest. But as some have pointed out, reimbursement for legal fees doesn't compensate Ms. Andersen for the other damages she's sustained. And that's where Phase II comes in, Andersen v. Atlantic. ...Shared by Candace Holly (32) Carlos Perez (11) cephyn (1) Chris (4) Chris (5) Christopher Gizzi (27) datax (11) Dave (36) Dwayne (4) happy_soil (21) HelloKit (3) mernisse (5) Robert (11) Sean (7)- mernisse said: Go case law go! Ho-lee crap. Now I’ve seen it all (no pun intended). This camera, called the Touch Sight, was developed by Chueh Lee of Samsung China. The basic short and sweet is that you hold the camera against your forehead and when you snap a photo, the camera grabs the image and converts it to braille. So you can actually feel the image against your forehead. It also grabs three seconds of sound, making it easier to ...Shared by AJ (189) BillDeys (67) Brandon (6) Dave Lovely (11) Erik C.
