Translate Single Words with Google's Search Box [Google] (24)

Google has quietly added another new feature to its basic search box—single-word translations between English and nine different languages, including French, Italian, and Spanish. To use it, type in "translate" followed by the word you want to convert to English, or add "into French," for example, to change over English words.
