10 Gadgets To Turn Your Kid's Room Into a Den of Depravity (28)

Sending a child off to college can be a sad, lonely time for parents. That is, until they decide to take advantage of their newfound freedom. Why not travel, take a pottery class or turn your empty kid's room into a tricked-out den of depravity? Wait, what? I can't believe I just wrote that. It's perverted and wrong...just the way you like it. So grab the Mrs. and a suitcase full of Viagra because things ...Shared by Alex Dumitru (291) ameo (226) Andrew N. Drop IE6 Support — Give People a Reason to Upgrade (10)
on
The Usability Post (67) permalink
Why do people still use IE6? This is a browser that's been released in August 2001 — that's over 7 years ago. It's old, it's got hundreds of compatibility issues, it's not particularly secure and neither does it have many features we come to rely on today in modern browsers. It doesn't even have tabs. But statistics show, that a sizable chunk of the internet is still surfing on IE6. There are a few reasons ...Shared by AJ (190) Akai (25) fabiano (24) Garret (5) Jim (22) Kristian (42) mae (2) Shey (64) spdd (8) Tommaso Passi (22)- spdd said: True!

Ghetto Disappearing License Plate Hack Rigged to Avoid Tolls [Criminal Mastermind] (15)
on
Gizmodo (3829) permalink
It's not what I would call a Bond-caliber revolving license plate, but the system that a Queens truck driver hooked up in his rig is chock-full of ghetto ingenuity. Apparently, Orlando Payano mounted his license plate on a hinged piece of metal then ran an attached cable through his cigarette lighter. When he went through a toll booth, all he had to do is pull the cord and abracadabra! No license plate caught on camera. ...Shared by Aaron (26) Bill (2) Chad (171) Charles (36) Chrispian Burks (8) Dicky S (25) Hurrican (16) Jeffrey Blais (47) Jeremy Johnson (11) Keenan (19) Kristian (42) Matthew (47) Richard Smith (7) Trae (2) Wayne (52)- Chad said: "Like most shirtless criminals pinned to the hood of vehicles, Payano denied everything despite overwhelming evidence." - Reublicans, the shirtless criminals of politics.

40 Creative Design Layouts: Getting Out Of The Box [PICS] (101)

Smashing Magazine (857) permalink
Over the last months we have seen a strong trend towards more individual web designs. These designs use realistic motifs from our regular life, such as hand-drawn elements, script fonts, pins, paper clips, organic textures and scrapbooks. That’s not a big surprise as they manage to serve the function which faceless shiny glassy 3D-buttons completely fail to deliver: convey the individuality and personality. “Personal” designs appear more familiar and more friendly. Used properly, such elements ...Shared by alexbig (10) Ali (16) Amit (16) Aneesha Bakharia (8) avianto (6) Azeem (39) Benjamin (1118) Benjamin (4) Bill Keaggy (17) Brad Brooks (10) Brandon Ball (27) Brian Partridge (10) brokekid (134) Çağatay Öztürk (16) Chandoo (9) chris (483) Chris L (20) Christopher (54) Coolbox (22) Dana Lookadoo (33) dani (22) Daniel Wittberger (17) Danny Korpan (6) Digg Boss (641) dingyi (13) dobata (366) Dominic Foster (297) Dorn (9) drew shobbrook (8) Elliot (28) Emil (6) etng (25) frivmo (5) Gerard (34) Giorgos Androulidakis (64) goodpic (15) Grant Griffiths (12) Guy (702) HejGustav (30) Janne Toivoniemi (5) Jason David Pelker (12) Jeremy Davis (4) JJ.Ying (1) Joseph Rodgers (24) Juan (15) Justin (7) Jye (30) Kevin (11) Kristian (42) Kyle (3) Lauren (6) lebachai (7) Leyla Bonilla (91) liamvictor (132) Live & Direct (28) LUCCHINA (442) Mancho (19) Mark (28) martinjy (5) Matt (13) MattC (2) matteo fogli (6) melmyfinger (15) Michael Yakovis (26) Mila F (36) Milkr Chan (8) Mostafa (3) mr_gadget (152) MrGuff (83) Muhammad Saleem (246) Neil (8) Nick Cobb (474) Nuno Carvalho (20) Olivier Favre (Innovablog) (30) Paddy (3) Peli (29) Pete Barry (5) Peter v (14) Radium (5) Rami Taibah (478) Rebecca Markowitz (4) Rob (132) Robby Colvin (12) Romey (34) Ron (16) Scott (19) Selwin (25) Srandy (30) Stephanie Gulley (16) stwn (16) superdeluxe (26) Ted (13) theCan (8) tj hanton (1) Tom Davies (142) Tom Q (7) Travis (34) Wes (16) xgdfalcon (9) yoshy (339) Zachary (8)Contribute comment - Gametrailers.com - ScrewAttack - Angry Video Game Nerd: Battletoads (1)
