on 電腦玩物 (26) permalink你是一打開電腦就會先打開瀏覽器的人嗎？更有甚者一旦你連上網路，不管有沒有真的在逛網頁，你也會保持瀏覽器開啟？或者說，你非常依賴某些需要長期開啟的網站服務，所以你的瀏覽器和電腦一樣保持著萬年啟動的待命狀態？其實我在電腦玩物也強調過很多次「瀏覽器」可以說是現在和未來最重要的一種「電腦軟體」，因為你有太多事情需要依靠它來完成，然後還有更多你或許還不知道的事情如果能依賴一個「好的瀏覽器」，將可以比你現在的工作效率還要好上幾倍。 當然，我心目中當今最好的瀏覽器就是「Firefox」，而如果你也是和我一樣捨不得關掉Firefox的使用者，今天我就介紹一個讓你更離不開Firefox的擴充套件：「Firefly」，它可以將你的火狐變成一個多視窗、多分頁，具有預覽功能的「進階版」檔案總管；現在開始，你不只上網需要Firefox，連日常硬碟檔案管理一樣可以在Firefox裡面完成了。 Firefly：http://firefly.mozdev.org/index.php?page=main Firefly擴充套件下載點：http://bit.ly/firefly 延伸閱讀：[FF] 把 Firefox 變成 Windows 檔案總管 - Firefly 「Firefly」最新的「0.4版」已經可以使用在「Firefox 3」上面，雖然在效能流暢上可能不算非常快速，也有一些還可以改進的小問題。但整體來說「Firefly」操作介面已經頗為優秀，而且擁有許多比Windows內建檔案總管還要強悍的功能，確實能讓我們方便的直接在瀏覽器中完成需要的檔案管理工作。下面我們就來看看「Firefly」有哪些特色，以及一些重點功能。 1.最重要的雙、多視窗整合介面： Windows內建檔案總管最難用的地方就是單視窗介面，每打開一個新視窗就要多打開一個檔案總管。而「Firefly」則可以讓你用垂直、水平等方式在單一介面打開複數的視窗。如此一來要管理、瀏覽檔案都更為方便。 2.複製檔案的操作： 用滑鼠左鍵按住某個檔案，拖曳拉動到你想複製的視窗裡面，就會看到跳出功能對話盒，詢問你要如何複製這個檔案。 3.移動檔案到特定資料夾： 在某個檔案上面按滑鼠右鍵，你可以選擇用移動或發送（複製）的方式，快速把檔案丟到特定資料夾，你可以用選單裡的【選擇】來指定一些預設的存檔位置，方便你以後移動檔案時的操作。 4.傳輸檔案時可以暫停、續傳： 在「Firefly」左方的樹狀資料夾側邊欄中，有一個﹝傳輸﹞的標籤分頁，當你移動或複製檔案時就會在這裡打開新的傳輸任務，你可以在任務方塊的右上角做﹝暫停﹞或﹝續傳﹞等動作。 5.將新資料夾開啟到新分頁或新視窗面板： 有時候我們要開啟新資料夾，不希望它覆蓋目前瀏覽的視窗，這時候你可以在資料夾上點擊滑鼠中鍵，然後在彈出選單裡面選擇你要把新資料夾打開在什麼位置。從這裡我們也可以看到「Firefly」不只可以在同一個Firefox分頁裡面打開多個瀏覽視窗，也可以同時開啟多個檔案瀏覽分頁。 6.分層位址切換瀏覽功能： 這是一個很好用的功能，「Firefly」的檔案位址列不是單純的一串文字，而是可以「點選」的分層位址，所以你可以直接點選特定的段落來切換回到某一層的資料夾位置。 7.圖片預覽功能： 在「Firefly」裡面，滑鼠游標移動到圖檔上可以直接預覽圖片內容。 8.設定選項裡的功能提示： 在「Firefly選項」中，你除了可以設定一些細節外，切換到﹝幫助﹞頁面，可以看到關於這個擴充套件的各種功能提示，只要把滑鼠游標移動到畫面中標為紅色的部分即可。 小結： 如果真的要管理檔案我還是推薦使用獨立的檔案總管替代工具：「2007年六款免費檔案總管替代工具評比 Explorer Review」。但是如果你真的非常喜歡Firefox，又希望它能發揮更多樣化的功能，另外你也常常有臨時性的檔案移動複製開啟需求的話，在「Firefox」裡面裝個「Firefly」，確實能快速應付這些情況。當然，如果這個擴充套件可以更精簡流暢一點會更好。
