Reference Areas at CML, originally uploaded by mstephens7. ONE MORE from Columbus Metropolitan Library. The other thing that knocked me out was this reference area where the library staffer and patron would stand together on the same side and look up information. This is interesting. "Shelfari, a social network for bibliophiles, has been acquired by Amazon for an undisclosed amount. Amazon has been a longtime supporter of the Seattle based startup, having invested $1 million in the site in February 2007. The Times has an interesting story of the Sinai Codex, a copy of the Bible written 1,600 years ago. The Bible has been in fragments, with some owned by the British, some fragments by the Germans, some by the Russians and some by the Monestary of St. Catherine in Sinai.
