Αφορμή για το παρόν είναι ένας εκνευρισμός του απογεύματος που προκλήθηκε από mail που μου ανήγγηλε ποιό είναι το νέο ποστ σε κάποιο μπλογκ. Είναι σαφές ότι ούτε είχα ρωτήσει, ούτε και μ’ ενδιέφερε. Αφού έγραψα στο twitter πως, από δω και μπρος, ότι παρόμοιο λαμβάνω θα το στέλνω στον Καιάδα, είπα να το δω λίγο πιο ψύχραιμα. Γιατί τελικά νομίζω ότι στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις επικρατεί άγνοια συνδιασμένη με επιθυμία για γρήγορη ανάδειξη, κι όχι ...

Jamie Boyle's fantastic new book is out. And he has beat me in getting it out with a CC license (soon, not soon enough, but soon). Download it for free here. One of the things I've been saying recently on this blog is that the Dow is full of tired companies and tired stocks. I think the Nasdaq is much more representative of the current american economy than the Dow. And when I came across this chart on Andrew Finkle's blog this morning it got me thinking. This shows the Dow from 1924 to 1939 and the Nasdaq from 1995 to September 2008 (two months ago). ...
