If We Give Citi the Bailout, Make Sure to Call Them at Dinner Asking When They Can Repay (1)

I don't think Citi should get billions for a bailout. I'm tired of what I thought were capitalists having their losses socialized while just plain folks get kicked out of their jobs and homes and get no help. But if we--yes we, the taxpayers--are expected to bailout (I mean loan) Citi $25 billion or so, I think the U.S. Treasury Department should call all the Citi executives at their dinner times every day and ask them ...Shared by Bob (0)Contribute comment -

Browns: Brady Quinn Starting Thursday (1)

Bleacher Report - Cleveland Browns (0) permalink
It came a week earlier than I would have guessed, but the Browns, most likely through Phil Savage or possibly owner Randy Lerner, have benched Derek Anderson in favor of first-round draft pick Brady Quinn. Personally I knew this move had to happen after Syndric Steptoe fumbled a pass in Sunday's game. Brady went over and tapped Steptoe on the helmet, while Derek simply walked by, ignoring Steptoe. Brady Quinn is no guarantee of any ...Shared by Bob (0)Contribute comment -

As always, it's difficult for me to write calmly after I watch the Browns do what they do. I've done my best to look at what is going on with the organization and there are obvious problems that must be addressed, if not immediately, than as soon as the season ends. Romeo Crennel has made bad decisions from the first game through the last. How many coaches would have let Baltimore kick a 41-yard field ...Shared by Bob (0)Contribute comment -
