Comedy goddess Tina Fey isn't the only funnylady who can pull off a mean Sarah Palin imitation. Harry Shearer—of The Simpsons, This is Spinal Tap, SNL's male synchronized swimming movie, and just about every other funny thing in the last 30 years—has just written and posted this fun song, "Bridge to Nowhere." It stars his wife, actress Judith Owen, whose Palin is spot-on and will make you eat the nearest hunk of rusted iron when ...Shared by Daniel M. (19) Zak M. (763)Contribute comment -

It's weak. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) now must win Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Minnesota in order to get enough electoral votes to win the presidency, his campaign says. Those were considered swing states in 2000 and 2004, but George W. Bush lost them both times. "Our ability to pick off one of those three states is where our fortunes are largely held," a McCain official said. "These are states where Barack Obama is on the defense." ...Shared by brokekid (223) Daniel M. (19)Contribute comment -
Examining America's presidential candidates | Examining the candidates | The Economist (63)
permalinkAS THE financial crisis pushes the economy back to the top of voters’ concerns, Barack Obama is starting to open up a clear lead over John McCain in the opinion polls. But among those who study economics for a living, Mr Obama’s lead is much more commanding. A survey of academic economists by The Economist finds the majority—at times by overwhelming margins—believe Mr Obama has the superior economic plan, a firmer grasp of economics and ...Shared by adam (33) aholmes360 (2) AJ (67) Arslan Zahid (153) bobby haye (21) Brandon (lostassassin13) (1) BrendoMan (348) Brian (170) Chris Bailey (7) Chris Coleman (19) Chris Johnson (24) Daniel M. The BBB has issued a warning about a distressing telephone scam that's increasing in popularity. The target? Grandparents. Scammers based in Canada are thought to be randomly dialing US phone numbers until they reach someone who sounds like a senior citizen. They then pose as a grandchild who has been in a car accident and needs emergency money. The BBB says: While many seniors have reported the scam without falling prey to it, unfortunately, many ...Shared by Daniel M. (19) Mike (22)Contribute comment - very small array » MUSIC (1)

Uganda Sued for Pirating its National Anthem (8)

Bill O'Reilly on Sarah Palin email hack (23)

Looks like Bill O'Reilly skipped the First Amendment section of Journalism 101. He thinks owners of websites that posted Sarah Palin's hacked emails should be prosecuted along with the hacker who broke into her account. When a Fox news anchor attempts to explain why the websites can't be prosecuted, he refuses to accept it, arguing back with bad analogies, which the news anchor handily demolishes. It's fun to watch.Shared by AlexK (7) Bob (29) Chris Abraham (44) Dan Russell (35) Daniel M. (19) dave (9) Jason C.
