Let me Google that for you is a free service that shows your non-tech-savvy friends how to use the popular search engine. You just type in the query your friend asked you (presumably by e-mail or IM) and it gives you a link to send back to them that shows both where to type and where to click to get a search going. It's even nice enough to do the search when it's done, while ...

Google has released SketchUp 7, the latest free version of its 3D modeling software, along with its premium counterpart, SketchUp 7 Pro. Like previous iterations of the software, SketchUp 7 will enable you to model just about anything you'd like as long as you start with a predesigned template. The new version, released Monday, offers simple templates that help you gauge size through feet or meters, but it also includes architectural design, Google Earth, and ...

There's always indie gems out there that no one ever knows about - Special is one of them. This indie film couldn't be better suited for film festivals and I'm quite sad that I missed seeing it at one of them. It actually premiered two years ago at Sundance but isn't hitting theaters until this year, which just goes to show you how slow the distribution process is for indies at the moment. Character actor ...

As promised, Zack Snyder has delivered the second full trailer for Watchmen today. It will also be showing in theaters front of Quantum of Solace this weekend. If you're as stunned as me at how phenomenal this all looks, then I'm excited that we're all on the same page! This is a definite improvement over the first trailer, which already kicked ass, so I'm sure most fans will be even more insanely excited by the ...

On Slide 22, Paul Isakson says "Committing = building your brand on principles that never change." It's a wonderfully conservative notion for an unusually progressive brand. For instance, Patagonia achieves this.

words: Bonnie Burton If there’s something every Sith Lord knows how to do it’s make a balanced breakfast. While the Jedi have to live off of Jawa juice and fried nerfsteak, the Dark Lord of the Sith prefers to have a reminder of his fiery Mustafar defeat at his breakfast table. Every morning he burns that moment into a slice of bread with the Darth Vader Toaster. This black, ominous kitchen appliance easily leaves the ...

Kansas City has many interesting monikers. Home to KC Masterpiece, this city has been lovingly dubbed as the”Barbecue Capital Of The World.” Also known for the Kansas City Strip cut of steak, K.C. is not exactly the kind of town you’d think would be big on organic dining. Well, you’ll be surprised to find, amongst the European-style boulevards and fountains that have given this city the names “City Of Fountains” and “Paris Of The Plains,” ...

This is a book cover from the folks at breakingbadnewswithbabyanimals. Looks naughty and delicious. There is a very limited e-card functionality on the site with a few badnewsbaby missives you can send along to your friends, but hyping the book is the main focus. A pity. Add the customizable functionality of someecards and it's easy to imagine these in the Internet sensation category with the potential to garner the authors more notice than the book ...

If there's one sequel that I'd definitely love to see, it would be that of M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable. I know I'm not the only one who loves that movie and I know I'm not the only one who wants to see a sequel. Unbreakable opened in theaters in November of 2000, which makes it nearly eight years since the film first arrived. SciFi was talking with Shyamalan during a promotion for The Happening and ...
