Filed under: Web services, Social Software, web 2.0If you've been to a tech event since SXSW in 2006, you've probably seen some kind of large monitor displaying info from the conference-goers. Often, this means Twitter tweets by attendees. Brightkite has just taken this a step further, with their own "Wall" feature. Because Brightkite is a location-based service to begin with, the wall has a built-in way to gather data. This means the usefulness of the ...Shared by (jeff)isageek (26) Andrew Ruess (7) Baard Overgaard Hansen (0) barb dybwad (0) Ben S (0) Brian Junyor (0) Chris Brogan (3) Chris Craft (2) Chris Owens (3) Ian Rathbone (0) Jason (1) Jeremy (11) Justin Doub (1) Kathleen Anderson (1) Kathy Brewis (3) kepp (23) PiAir (7) richhand (10) Rick Schmidt (3) Veronica (0)Contribute comment -

Well, it took 6 months since we first heard a peep about an official release of Gmail themes for Google to make them a reality. But even with this week’s rollout from Mountain View HQ, some of you will still want more. Indeed, the Google design corps won’t hit the spot for every Tom, Dick, and Henrietta. So there’s really only one alternative route to venture down to get Gmail a new dress: some good ...Shared by Baard Overgaard Hansen (0) Babychen Mathew (32) Benedict Lee Zhi En (13) Charl (7) Chris Brogan (3) Cristian Ciofu (4) Dave Vanhoudt (0) Deb (2) dudtn (1) ELIZABETH (1) Eoin (3) f0gh0rn (0) Fernando Parra (0) Hammad (0) Heather (0) Hriday (2) jbruin (0) justin shetler (4) Klaus (2) Le prof. If you use Twitter, and you have an iPhone, you need Tweetie. Early in the days of iPhone apps I proclaimed Twitterrific the best Twitter app, but it has now been dethroned by Tweetie. Yes, it is $2.99 more than free, but in my opinion, worth every penny. The first thing you will notice is how fast and responsive Tweetie is. No waiting, it just delivers the goods. If you were to ask anyone remotely familiar with Monty Python which sketch is best known, the overwhelming majority would undoubtedly say the dead parrot sketch shown above. In the bit, John Cleese returns his recently purchased dead parrot to the pet shop he bought it from. The pet shop owner, played by the second funniest Palin (link leads to video), Michael Palin, tries to convince Cleese that the parrot is not actually dead, nor ...Shared by Baard Overgaard Hansen (0)Contribute comment -
