How to Pick a Lock with a Bump Key [How To] (56)

From the "use this for good, not evil" files comes a fascinating instructional video on how to pick a lock with a "bump key"—a key modified to fit and open any lock. Like the instructor in the video says, thieves have been using this technique for a long time now—so it's interesting (in the "knowledge is power" kind of way) to see how it's done. Before you start making evil plans, keep in mind that ...Shared by Aaron (7) Aaron R (74) Andrew (1) Andrew (2) Army of Gnomes (39) Ben (7) Bene (3) Benny Ketelslegers (0) Carl (16) Chris (6) Chris H (0) Clay (3) Creeva (41) Crutcher D (47) David Kingham (0) davidmat (0) Dean (5) Dwayne (2) Erik (2) Erika Klein (4) Erin (14) Evgeni L. / Reepicheep (15) GKB (14) idham (6) isocketnet (3) jaholbrook (5) James and Tom (12) Jared (0) JohnC (0) Jon (2) josh (9) Joshua Hayworth (5) Kelly (4) Kenny (6) Kyle A Koch (2) lnxcwby (5) Lord (20) Lucindo (12) maccman (19) Michael (0) Michael (4) Nathan (0) Noah (36) Opie (8) Philip Spohn (24) PoPPaP (9) SFSlim (20) Shack (17) Stacy (46) Sumesh (101) thr33 (25) tietoukka (101) TiTi (109) Travis Roy (11) Udi (3) Zach (57)Contribute comment -

Check THIS out. It’s a sample panel from “The Comic Bardo Thodol” (aka The Tibetan Book of the Dead), as created and executed by writer/artist Thomas Scoville. This is seriously one of the coolest things the Horse has ever seen. It’s fun! It’s visionary! It features Donald Trump as Yama Raja, the Lord of Death. (Of course.) But don’t take our word for it, see it for yourself. Here’s the link. Have fun. Big thanks ...Shared by Erin (14) hoosteen (43)Contribute comment -

As of yesterday's announcement of CalDAV support in Google Calendar, you can now sync your Google Calendar with virtually any popular desktop calendar for free. Not only can you enjoy your favorite desktop calendar software and still get the benefit of the web interface, you can also sync any desktop calendar with any other across platforms using GCal as a go-between. Let's take a comprehensive look at how to set up bidirectional syncing between Google ...Shared by (jeff)isageek (50) Aaron M. Video of the Moon Passing in Front of the Earth Taken From 31 Million Miles Away [Space] (52)

We don't have too many cameras out there in space past the moon, which is why most of our space shots are either looking outward, such as the shots taken by Hubble, or taken of Earth from the moon or closer. Which is why this video is so astounding. It's a video of the moon passing directly in front of the Earth, taken by NASA's EPOXI spacecraft from a whopping 31 million miles away. iPhone/iPod touch only: Free music discovery service Last.fm has launched its own iPhone/iPod touch 2.0 app, and it does exactly what you'd hope it would, with a few caveats. The interface is straightforward and simple, at least for experienced Last.fm users—launch the app, then choose from your "Recommended Radio" or enter an artist name to hear other tracks you might like. You can ban, skip, or "Love" tracks while they're playing, and get artist bios ...Shared by Aaron M.
