As the debate over the teaching of evolution in public schools continues, a new controversy over the science curriculum arose Monday in this embattled Midwestern state. Scientists from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning are now asserting that the long-held “theory of gravity” is flawed, and they have responded to it with a new theory of Intelligent Falling. SITTING behind McCain, I didn't see the screen behind him, but apparently quite a few people were puzzling over the plush-looking building projected on the screen. Wonder no more: it was Walter Reed Middle School, presumably chosen by a confused RNC staffer who was looking for a picture of Walter Reed Medical Centre.Just so long as they don't mistakenly try to take out Ireland's nuclear programme.

Frustrated by what they say is a lack of police response to neighborhood crime, a group of Beacon Hill residents have formed a citizens patrol group where some its members pack heat, reports the Seattle Weekly. All of its armed members have concealed-weapons permits, and the group does 90-minute walks at dusk along Beacon Ave. South to 15th Ave. South and South Massachusetts Street, considered a "hotbed" of crime, drugs and prostitution. "We're not looking ...

I hardly go out to see bands any more, but I'd pay a lot to attend a Sonseed concert. ♫ Once I tried to run, once I tried to hide, but Jesus found me and touched me deep down inside. ♫ "Jesus is My Friend" by Sonseed (Via Arbroath)

Time and time again, the question comes up – to pair or not to pair. Its understandable to have that question since productivity has a direct correlation to the number of people. Interestingly enough the correlation remains the same for a good team or a poor team but the productivity is progressively lower. Here’s an example - If you have 4 people who are really good and produce higher quality software as the team grows – ...

Last night’s Daily Show was a 5-star effort. It baffles me why “real” news organizations don’t use these techniques of calling politicians on previous statements and, yes, letting them answer them. Sometimes apparent hypocrisy has an explanation. But for the love of Apollo, don’t let them get away with just demagoguing their way around reality. Rove’s, O’Reilly’s, Morris’, Pfotenhauer’s double standards: Jon asks Newt real questions about, e.g. “experience” and “choice”:

I’ve decided that Mikhaela Maricich, who records under the moniker The Blow, is a female Reihan. For one thing, our dance sensibilities are identical. This song, incidentally, is rad. I really, really want to cut an album. There is no way I’ll ever make music this good, but if I start early enough, I might get halfway there. Something to live for! I’m intrigued by this notion that we all have doppelgangers. I’ve met a ...
