Monty Python finally does something with this YouTube stuff (80)

For most of seventh grade, I came home every day from school and, before doing anything else, watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail from beginning to end. Why Apple Will Never Permit Adobe Flash on the iPhone (173)
on
Wired: Gadget Lab (0) permalink
Don't hold your breath waiting for the iPhone to support Adobe's Flash software: Apple's terms-of-service agreement prohibits it. Although Adobe says it is working on a version of its popular Flash player for the iPhone, Apple is unlikely ever to permit it to appear in the handset's App Store, no matter how much customers want it. "I'm pretty skeptical that Flash could be implemented in a way that doesn't violate the Terms of Service of ...Shared by 100rabh™ (0) Adam Dorfman (0) adin (0) Ahac Sedušak (0) Alain Edouard (0) Alex (0) Alex France (7) AmyVernon (88) an Michael (9) Ash Matadeen (0) Badam (34) Barry Sanschagrin (0) Ben (1) Ben (20) Ben Jacob (0) Ben Love (0) Benedict Lee Zhi En (8) Benjamin (56) Bernard Moon (1) Beth (0) Bill Pennington (0) Blaenk Denum (2) bobby haye (0) Brajeshwar (2) Brandon J. - Erik said: I understand the reasoning here but the end result is that Apple will lose customers to smartphone makers who embrace Flash. I know I'm kind of pissed off about this.
- Peter said: If I was a betting man, I'd bet flash will come to iPhone sooner or later.
- Crutis said: I've always been confused at Apple's approach. They want to have a development community, but don't want to embrace what that really means. Limiting developers is probably not a good long-term business decision when lots of other brands are investing in completely open source platforms.

MacBook Nano Looks Like It Came from Cupertino (86)

I don't know if these MacBook Nanos are a custom hack or if they come from some kind of shady outlet selling retrofitted MSI U100 laptops made to look like shiny—and fictional—Apple notebooks with Mac OS X installed. I do know one thing, though: I wouldn't mind having one, specially seeing the contrast with the MacBook Pro 17.
