The above video is NSFW, but if your boss saw it, I doubt he or she would be able to process it in their brain fast enough to report you to human resources. But for those of you playing it safe (I'm not kidding, the video is certainly not safe for work), here's what you're missing: someone decided to modify the Japanese version of Resident Evil 4 on the PC. Instead of turning it into something ...

The Zack and Miri Make A Porno restricted trailer is out and about on the web. I’ve got to tell ya, even though I’m a massive fan of Clerks 2 (it’s actually on my top 10 favorite comedies of all time list), for some reason I haven’t felt a lot of excitement over Zack and Miri. It’s not that I’ve had a bad feeling about it, or that I haven’t liked anything I’ve seen, it’s ...

In sad news, one of the legendary voice actors of our time has passed away. Don LaFontaine gave us the deep baritone voice that drove the intesity as such film trailers as the classic Elephant Man and Terminator 2 ended his 68 years on this earth after complications from a collapsed lung. I give you in tribute the aforementioned Terminator 2 trailer: And more recently he appeared in a Geico Ad on TV. Via

Summer is over. My kids go back to school tomorrow. And the “official summer season” is over. So what’s left? There are other movies coming out between now and Harry Pott– oh sorry, James Bond. Igor Poster back in April and then it got pushed aside. I all but forgot about this until someone reminded me about the trailer. Check it out below: I have to say this looks cute. It’s only a couple scant ...

News came today confirming Google’s plans for Chrome, its own open source browser based on Webkit. This is big news. As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t get much bigger than this, at least in my little shed on the internet. I’ve been struggling to come to grips with my thoughts on this since I first heard about this this morning over Twitter (thanks @rww @Carnage4Life and @furrier). Once I found out that it was ...

And I tend to think that Google humongous data processing for altar of advertising cash cow demands more data. And Google finds it easier/cheaper to get data straight "from your pocket" than maintaining "your account at Google bank". Whether you like Google in your pocket or not is separate question, which you might like to ask yourself.

I just can’t read this any other way than to think that Google’s finally fed up waiting around for Firefox to get their act together, fix their performance issues in serious ways, provide tangible and near-term vision and make good on their ultimate promise and value-proposition.

Cats love cardboard boxes, but they don't look nice strewn around the house—so the Evil Mad Scientists DIY site details how to assemble a hilarious cardboard box "chaise lounge" for your favorite kitty. All it takes is a few boxes and some cutting and folding, and they offer a PDF pattern download to get it just right. In a presentation made at Nvidia's NVISION show this week, Adam and Jamie unveiled a 1100 barrel paintball gun and—in an instant—painted a pretty convincing (if not slightly drippy) Mona Lisa. In typical MythBusters fashion, the incredibly elaborate experiment was only tenuously linked to their hypothesis. The presentation was intended to represent the difference in operation between single and multicore processors, referring to current gen CPUs versus GPUs, respectively. Of course, the reality of parallel ...

Always pleases me when Adam and Jamie don't waste time making poorly planned scientific studies. And the CPU/GPU comparison is cute. Very impressive work.

I caught this trailer online for a new “Britcom” series coming out that kind of reminds me of the live action Tick show combined with Friends and some british accents with a side order of MysteryMen. Just a bunch of superheroes hanging out off duty - at a pub for off duty superheroes. Tiger Aspect, the same studio that brought us Mr Bean, The Catherine Tate Show (Do I look Bovvered?) BBC’s Robin Hood and ...
