History Hacker - My TV Show PilotWill Air on The History Channel on (6)
permalinkI’m really excited. I just found out that my TV show pilot, called History Hacker is going to air on the History Channel on Friday, September 26th at 9PM. This photograph, which is also the current header of my blog was shot during filming of the show. I’m on set in my infinity workshop and that’s a decent sized Tesla coil. Over the course of the show I learn about the inventors and inventions of ...

If you're like me, it is often nice to know the time spent on a call (especially if you charge your services by the minute) and even though the cheapest cell phones out there can tell you the time you were just on the phone, that data is buried deep in iPhone's records and unaccessible from the touch GUI. I have been using a script created in ruby called calllog2ical, which you can download from ...Contribute comment - Tradeshow Startup » Blog Archive » 5 Reasons Why I’m Thinking About Quitting The Tradeshow Business (3)

When Digg’s Lead Architect Joe Stump took the stage at the Facebook Developer Conference in San Francisco earlier today, something in one of his screen shots caught our attention. He was there to show how users will soon be able to log in to Digg without an account via their Facebook credentials (the new Facebook Connect product). But also included prominently in the screen, but not mentioned by Stump, was an option to log in ...Shared by aaron (0) abhi (2) Adrian Bacon (0) Aelle (33) AJ (168) Alan (1) Alex (1) Alex (0) Ankesh (28) Archit T (8) arturo.servin (8) atermath (1) Avi (461) Backhandzeus (4) Benjamin (824) Brad Brooks (9) Brad Nadler (6) Brendon Wadey (12) Brian Junyor (39) Bryan (8) Cam (16) Carbonlord (46) cgsheldon (119) Chad Spacey (5) Christopher W. Google Maps walking directions had been spotted by some users before, and now they’re being rolled out for everyone, as Search Engine Roundtable reports. Try this directions search in New York, for instance, and you’ll see the “Walking” link on top activated (though this isn’t just restricted to US locations, as a test search in Germany showed). Google has the following disclaimer following their “beta” notice: “Use caution when walking in unfamiliar areas.” Uhm, OK. ...Shared by adamgn (11) AJ (168) Archit T (8) Avi (1) Carl Fyffe (2) Carlos Pinto (5) Chirantan (8) Chris (1) Crysti the Great (6) danb420 (10) enSue (25) focoma (12) Jardenberg (9) jeremy (9) Jigar Mehta (27) kidmarmite (26) Lari Numminen (0) norti (18) Priyadarsan Venugopalan (7) Qian (28) Rutger Blom (2) Ryan (24) Sai Gudigundla (9) Sean Harvell (0) Steven (10) Thadman (3) Tim (11) Vulpes (1) ziizii (1) 猫影 (12) 이장 (33)Contribute comment -
Startup Job Site Gets Backing From Y Combinator, Relauches As Startuply (31)

New Y Combinator startup Startuply launches today. It’s a free job listing service aimed squarely at small startups, which have a lot of trouble getting the attention of new engineering graduates over the noise of the brand recognition and recruiting efforts of larger companies like Google and Microsoft. Startuply is actually a fresh relaunch of Jowba, which originally launched in 2007. Founders Luke Groesbeck, Ben Wong and Loc Ngo took Y Combinator funding, rebranded (they ...Shared by Andrei (18) AnthonyB415 (1) Ben (74) Bill HR (8) Brit (23) Cam Thompson (1) CB (12) charlie anzman (90) Dave (4) Derek (29) Eric (7) Eunice (12) Gautam (1) Jan (4) Jon.
