Flickr Launches iPhone-Friendly Mobile Version [Flickr] (60)

Photo sharing site Flickr just activated an iPhone-scaled version of the site for anyone visiting the site with a mobile Safari browser. The menus are optimized to put the most-accessed activities—photo stream browsing, "Explore" mode, and recent comment activity—right up front, and your upload-by-email address is placed in the "More" section. Best of all, Flickr's site pre-loads many of the iPhone-scaled thumbnails you're checking out, so flipping between pictures often doesn't require any kind of ...Shared by Adam Selwood (21) AdamB (22) Alex (119) amy (20) Andy C (13) beanj007 (20) Bill (19) bkim (38) cesaracardoso (59) Chad (136) charlie anzman (126) Ching (56) Chris (20) Chris Nixon (24) Dan Russell (35) Daniel Light (20) Daryl (18) Drew Olanoff (127) Ed Dale (20) Eric Mortensen (21) estragon (18) fatihturan (93) Håkan (33) Hasan (21) heidigoseek (16) Hisham (37) IanMcKenzie (8) James F (24) Jason (41) jasontromm (40) Johan (8) John W (25) JustonWestern (17) Karie (25) Keef (38) mdc (20) mediter (39) Mikey (68) Ozgur Alaz, Marketallica (50) Peter (22) Program Witch (29) Retta (20) Rich (7) Robert Cortez (21) rorowe (28) Ryan (29) Sam Sethi (23) Sarah (18) Sean (26) Simon (30) Stephanie (21) Stephen (15) ThomasHan (30) Tj Nelson (11) Todd (42) Trey (22) utility73 (20) Waldemar (17) Waqas (19) zemlanin (64)Explore read six notes- heidigoseek said: Exposure is a nice app for viewing Flickr photos on the iPhone. Nintendo Announces DSi (162)

Engadget (5215) permalink
Filed under: Gaming As expected, Nintendo has announced the new DSi at its Fall presentation in Japan. The device features a dual touchscreen layout almost identical to the DS Lite, though the company is calling it a "third platform," which means it's complementing the existing system, not necessarily replacing it. Looks-wise there's not much different happening, but it's some 12 percent thinner -- partly because it omits the GBA cartridge slot.
