Nikon currently operates with two sensor formats in its DSLRs, DX and FX. Practically speaking, the FX format is the same size as the old 35mm film frame. Recently Charles Clawson from blog.chaselliot.com wrote a post here on DPS called Stepping into Wedding Photography.
