8 Essential Skills They Didn’t Teach You In School (51)
on Stepcase Lifehack (462) permalinkLately, I’ve been simultaneously using less and less of what I learned in school while discovering more and more skills that are vital to success which were never even offered in school! If I were to be 100% honest, probably the most valuable skill I learned in college was how to talk to girls (certainly a vital skill for happiness and success, but not what I was there to learn). The economics classes? Nope, mostly ...Shared by Amber-Jade Walsh (54) Augmented Web (61) Calvin (6) CannonGod (487) Clay Carson (21) Colby (16) Damon (165) Donnie Berkholz (62) Doug (2) Doug (10) Fateme (174) Fussypants (169) Gauravonomics (158) ghassem (72) Hadi Nili (281) imabonehead (108) Imelda (18) Jacqueline (11) jezarnold (40) Jorge Luis v (13) Juliana Garcia Sales (8) Ken Xu (67) Kiddokay (7) Kimi (3) Luigi Centenaro (56) maryam (108) Matthew Archibald (4) miasarmento (190) Michael Fidler (66) mmhan (10) NickBoucart (16) Pablo (10) Radek Pilich (40) Reza (84) Rudi (19) Sebastian (12) Shankar Ganesh (226) Sheehan (32) Sireesh Tripurari (59) snachodog (48) Srinvard (198) Stefan (30) tarraguna (22) Terrence (103) Thomas Reimer S (96) Tom (671) Village Idiot (14) Zahra HB (287) Zeke (52) 令狐葱 (28) 宋小明 (238)Contribute comment

BSOD: Blue Screen of Olympic Dimension? (5)
on [Geeks Are Sexy] Technology News (114) permalinkWe all have to admit it, this year’s Olympic opening ceremony was of epic proportions… but there was only one thing that wasn’t so epic. Right at the moment when Chinese gymnast Li Ning was flying to light up the giant Olympic torch, someone took this picture. And if you think that this was Photoshopped, other people were able to take the shot from other angles. In other related news, it was just reported that ...Contribute comment

Weekend Quick Tip: Create Your Own Simple Reset.css File (19)
on NETTUTS (305) permalinkFar too many novice CSS designers don’t realize the importance of creating a “reset.css” file. When you have an environment where each browser has its own “default” styling, you’ll often find yourself thumping your skull as you ask yourself, “Why is there a spacing here?” To save yourself some of the headaches that you’ll undoubtedly experience, you’ll need to create your own simple reset file. How To play Sony PlayStation Games on your PC (53)
on MakeUseOf.com (672) permalinkI’m sure most of you have heard of emulation somewhere. So what is it exactly? Wikipedia says that “an emulator duplicates the functions of one system, using a different system, so that the second system behaves like (and appears to be) the first system.” This means that we can make our PC mimic a specific system, which thereby enables us to run those system-specific games on our computers.
