In Melbourne I developed a way-finding-system for the Eureka Tower Carpark. The distored letters on the wall can be read perfectly when standing at the right position. This project won several international design awards.Shared by 1unamayu (10) 7noOna (20) Aaron Weiss (0) adam (972) Adam (10) Adam (0) Adam Lindsay (0) Alan Dean (55) Albert (3) ali (6) Amon Focus (36) Andrea Schultz (8) Andrew Currie (10) Andrew Miesem (1) Anthony (8) Anton Bernstein (1) Anton Raath (7) Arne Hassel (12) Arraine (171) Artem (5) Avinash (189) Bassoon (9) Ben (19) Ben Cope (2) Bibi (36) Bill DeRusha (3) Blaine (1) boost ventilator (1) brian kalma (8) Brian P McCaffrey (0) Can Eğridere (2) Carl (0) Carol (148) Chris (3) Chris Burbridge (10) Chris Corwin (0) Christopher J Dudman (12) Christopher Moran (3) Chu Yeow (11) Ciprian Pantea (0) Craig Killick (1) D. Mamihlapinatapai, a most succinct word. It describes a look shared by two people with each wishing that the other will initiate something that both desire but which neither one wants to start. This could perhaps be translated more succinctly as "eye-contact implying 'after you...'". A more literal approximation is "ending up mutually at a loss as to what to do about each other". Heartbreaking. I wish we had an English word for that feeling.
